Dave, N4SU, one of the world's best low band Dxer's and his wife Sonja celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary with a 35 day cruise aboard the M. S. Crystal Symphony from Los Angeles to Sydney. On February 9, while anchoring off Pitcairn Island they met Jukka, VP6BR (DXpeditioner OH2BR) and Tom Christian, VR6TC. Dave's famous 7-Two Wire Beverage system (Switchable in 14 Directions) was featured in May 1986 Ham Radio Magazine.
