Rudi Klos - DK7PE - Germany

Rudi, DK7PE, has been a licensed radio amateur since 1973, when he was 16 years old. DX was always the most exciting part our fascinating hobby. In 1978 he started travelling to some of the most exciting places on earth. His first choice was thecountry of Egypt, where he had a chance to operate the station VO1LX/SU in the UN-Camp in Ismailia. In the following 23 years visited 133 different DXCC-countries and operated out of more than one hundred (see CALL SIGNS). Getting a license in some of these countries wasn't always easy, so to mention Mocambique, Angola, Burkina Faso and Bangladesh. During his DXpeditions Rudi always concentrates on the countries that are most wanted on CW and especially on the low bands like 40, 80 and 160 meters.
